Countertop questions answered

Granite and marble are natural stones — each slab is unique. Granite is harder and more heat-resistant. Marble is softer and more porous, but preferred for its look in many bathrooms. Quartz is engineered stone: consistent in color, doesn't need sealing, and resists stains better than natural stone. All three look high-end and add value to your home.
Template to install typically takes 5–10 business days. We template on Day 1, fabricate over the following days, and schedule installation once the slab is ready. Actual installation usually takes half a day to a full day depending on the size of the project.
Granite should be sealed at installation and typically once a year after that, depending on use. Quartz does not need sealing. Marble needs more frequent sealing if used in a kitchen. We seal all natural stone countertops at installation and can advise on maintenance.
Yes. Countertop-only installations are common. We template over your existing cabinets. The only requirement is that the cabinet boxes are structurally sound and level. If your cabinets need work first, we can handle that too.
